Salut ,

Je travail actuellement sur l'une de mes APA qui est nagios . Mais malheureusement j'ai eu un probléme .

Alors lorsque je lance la commande pour verifier la configuration :

/usr/local/nagios/bin/nagios -v /usr/local/nagios/etc/nagios.cfg

J'obtiens l'erreur suivante :
Error : Cannot open main configuration file '/usr/local/nagios/var/-v' for reading
Nagios 2.5 starting... ( PID=21562)
Bailing out due ton one or more errors encountered in the configuration files . run nagios from the command line with the -v option to verify your config before restarting ( PID = 21562 )

Au faite je tourne sur une fedora core 5 .

Si quelqu'un peu m'aider merci .

une suggestion peut-être idiote mais est-ce que tu as pensé à attribuer les droits nécéssaires au fichier pour l'opération recquise ?

Si c'est fait pour vérifier les erreurs, je crois qu'il te dit qu'il en a trouvé.
Reste plus qu'à les trouver toi même ou voir s'il génère des logs dans lesquels il les indique.

Les droits pour nagios sont chmod 775 /usr/local/nagios/etc/*

verifie aussi que ton repertoir etc est aussi chown nagios:nagios /usr/local/nagios/etc

Une derniere chose si sa plante encore verifie dans le script de nagios.cfg. Il ya plusieurs ligne sur l'utilisation des fichier .cfg met les tous en commentaire et retape la lcommande de verification.

Ensuite Tu les remet un par un pour savoir lequelle peu merdouiller.

J'ai dis n'importe quoi au temps pour moi.

Hmm là j'ai le sentiment qu'il prend pour fichier l'option "-v". Essaye de la mettre à la fin de ta commande.

Salut ,

Finalement j'ai pu résoudre mon probléme .
Maintenant Nagios s'ouvre mais ne demande pas de mot de passe ensuite la partie monotoring , reporting et congiguration ne s'affiche pas j'ai le message d'erreur suivant :

Not Found

The requested URL /cgi/config.cgi was not found on this server.
Apache/2.2.2 (Fedora) Server at localhost Port 80

ou encore

Not Found

The requested URL /cgi/tac.cgi was not found on this server.

c'est une histoire de droits de fichier sa.

Verifie que ton repertoire /usr/local/nagios/etc soit bien chmod 775 et chown nagios:nagios.

C'est forcement une histoire de droit.

On dirais que le plugings ping ne fonctionne pas . ( Je suis pas sur ) ensuite dans l'arborescence nagios je n'ai pas le répertoire libexec est ce normal ?

Non c'est pas normale que tu n'est aps le repertoire libexec, dans ce cas revoi ton installation de nagios. ( pour info je l'ai recommencer 3fois).

En faite le repertoir libexec contient tes plug in . est ce qu'il sont installer ailleur ?
verifie que ton repertoi meme nagios/etc a aussi les meme droit (nagios:nagios). Ce qu'il ya dedans est une chose mais le repertoire en ai une autre.

pour installer les plug in si tu ne la pas fait. Reinstalle nagios en faisant gaffe que les plug in iron dans le bon repertoire. ensuite tu peu en telecharger d'autre et decompresser l'archive dans le repertoire ou son contenu les plug in et redemarrer nagios.

Ce n'est pas celui la qui nous interresse. Il n'a rien a voire avec nagios ce repertoire.

Pour ma part j'ai suivi ce tuto.

Mais ne choisi pas la partie facile avec ses scripts sinon tu n'aura pas le controle totale sur ton nagios.
Il propose d'installer oreon en plus.

Ceci dit j'ai suivi au moin 4-5 tuto pour comprendre tout ce qu'il se passai. Pour moi celui la est le plus efficace.
Sinon je me suis ecris le mien.

Au final, je maitrise l'installation de nagios et oreon. Par contre je suis bloquer a perfparse. Afin d'afficher mes graphique je suis en plein dedans c'est pas de la tarte.

Afin de d'avancer de façon certaines tu dois a chaque etape avoir 0 erreur dans ton script d'install. Autrement dit tu ne va pas ) la suite si tu as un soupçons ou une mini eurreur ou un warning.

Exemple quand je clique sur tactical overview le lien pointe vers :
http://localhost/cgi/tac.cgi

Mes fichiers cgi se trouve dans :
/usr/local/nagios/sbin

De plus dans mon répertoire :
var/www/ j'ai le répertoire cgi-bin

Je comprends plus rien .

Ya un soucis avec tes proprietaire dans tes fichiers.

verifie tes droits.
